Bull Ring (Plaza de Toros)

Valencia's bull ring is an imposing building located in the old part of the city next to the train station. It is impossible to miss this enormous historic construction in the context of a modern city, with busy traffic rushing past it at all times of day and night. At first glance, the bull ring or “Plaza de Toros” looks like the Roman Coliseum with its brick cylinder shape and four levels of archways. Here you can experience this Spanish tradition first hand or simply visit the B ull Fighting Museum which allows entrance to the ring in between shows. The museum is rather simple with a stuffed bull, newspaper clippings (in Spanish) and examples of traditional bull fighting costumes.
